Here at James River Float Company we specialize in the outdoors and doing all the hard work so you can have all the fun. 

Our unique team building activities are tailored to your specific needs and we will work with you to achieve your group objective(s). 

Through “action learning” – using actual experiences as a learning tool, James River Float Company helps group members gain valuable insight into their interactions with each other.  From large corporations, to small businesses, to church groups these team building experiences are perfect for everyone!

James River Float Company offers the following team building activities:

• Kayak relay races

• Tug of war

• Egg transport

• Batteau Bonding 101: Your group will learn how to work together and think outside the box to solve unconventional problems with conventional solutions.  Groups will learn to coerce these gentle giants through the technical rapids of the James River.  Rates start at $80 per person.

• Rafting scavenger hunt: Your group will collect their loot, as they solve clues related to the historical significance of the area, aspects of the natural environment, water safety, and issues related to environmental awareness. A team-oriented challenge might also be thrown in for good measure. This activity is a fantastic way for your group to have a blast while learning new possibilities for working as a team.  $65 per person

• Hydro-Dynamics: Take a unique approach to group synergy, and go far beyond just paddling a raft together.  Using the river as our tool, the pools and rapids of the James River create a powerful and compelling environment and a great opportunity for a corporate team building experience.  $65 per person
