Fishing trips

James River Float Company is excited to announce that we are now offering guided fishing trips.

• Guided half day $125 per person.
• Guided full day $250 per person.

These trips are offered 7 days a week 365 days a year (weather permitting). We are very lucky at James River Float Company to have experienced guides that know all the secret spots.

Whether you are fly fishing for small mouth or you are bait casting for that big musky, our guides have the knowledge to put you on the fish.

Our guided fishing trips are offered out of a canoe or out of our three man oar rig, or maybe wading is your thing.

Whatever the case may be, we can accommodate. Customers are encouraged to bring their own fishing equipment, but if you do not own such equipment, we would be glad to provide it for you at no additional cost.

Also, if you let us know what kind of gear you will be fishing with (fly rod, spin rod, bait caster) our knowledgeable guides would be happy to put together a grab bag of some of their favorite lures to help put you on the fish.
