Tube Trips:
For a carefree afternoon of fun and sun plop down on one of our highly engineered, state of the art, multi directional and round all the way around tubes! Our awesome tubes are full of air from the inside out, are fine river vessels and they also float! (see photo above)Our first tube trip offering begins on the Amherst County side of the James River in beautiful revitalized downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. We float by Percival's Island, a local park connected to miles of bike trails and nature walks. The take-out is at a private landing, on river-left in scenic Amherst County. Relax and ride our shuttle bus back to Lynchburg. With gas prices getting ever higher, stay close to home and enjoy the beautiful James River! You will want to go again and again. Bring your friends and have fun!
We offer the longest float trip available; at 6 miles (we also offer a shorter 3 mile trip for those with not as much time or traveling with children).
Trips are available daily, seven days a week (weather and river levels permitting).
Please make reservations for large groups.Life jackets are provided free of charge with every tube rental and are highly recommended for maximum river enjoyment. Your relaxing float will begin with you watching Lynchburg drift away behind you. You will meander though six miles of tranquil and lush outdoor wilderness.
To be so close to town, but yet seem so far away is an experience you will not soon forget. So, pack a cooler and grease the kids up with suntan lotion and come join us on the mighty James River.
Minimum age of 6 years. Life jackets required for all children under the age of 13.
