For the water enthusiast who would perhaps like a little more directional control and the ability to explore a much larger section of river than is possible with tubing we offer kayak rentals.Kayaks have exploded onto the outdoor industry within the past 10 years, and we here at the James River Float Company have certainly heard the “bang”. These boats are nimble and fast and yet provide ample stability and cargo carrying room.
Maybe you are tired of fishing out of that state of art tube or you just want to try something new, or perhaps you have already heard the waves lapping off the bow of a kayak in some other part of your travels.
Whatever the case may be don’t forget your fishing rod and bring a camera. Sit back, relax, and let the river be your guide.
Prices start at $25 per person and go up, depending on the length and duration of the trip.
All trips include shuttle, life jackets, paddles, and general trip information.
