The James River Float Company is a family owned business dedicated to preserving and sharing the amazing historical and ecological treasure that is the mighty James River. The company’s founders, David and Mason Basten, (father and son) have spent their free time in life exploring their home rivers, in particular the James River. They have a deep appreciation for all of its natural wonders and its great stone structures, which are now ancient that have adorned its banks since the beginning of our great country's history. Whether floating on a tube or standing on the deck of a batteau the James River Float Company will surely give you a trip to compare the rest to. We pay close attention to detail and truly care about our customers on an individual basis, with the same sincerity we would give to friends and family.
